Flowing and Operating in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit

KING OF KINGS
In the darkness we were waiting
Without hope, without light
'Til from Heaven You came running
There was mercy in Your eyes
To fulfill the law and prophets
To a virgin came the word
From a throne of endless glory
To a cradle in the dirt
Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit, three in one
God of glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of Kings
To reveal the kingdom coming
And to reconcile the lost
To redeem the whole creation
You did not despise the cross
For even in your suffering
You saw to the other side
Knowing this was our salvation
Jesus for our sake you died
Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit, three in one
God of glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of Kings
4th
And the morning that You rose
All of Heaven held its breath
'Til that stone was moved for good
For the Lamb had conquered death
And the dead rose from their tombs
And the angels stood in awe
For the souls of all who'd come
To the Father are restored
And the church of Christ was born
Then the Spirit lit the flame
Now this gospel truth of old
Shall not kneel, shall not faint
By His blood and in His name
In His freedom I am free
For the love of Jesus Christ
Who has resurrected me
Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit, three in one
God of glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of Kings
Praise forever to the King of Kings

Introduction: Flowing & Operating in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Kaya nga sinabi ni Pablo, “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant” (1 Cor. 12:1 NKJV).

Remember that when we got born again, we received the best gift who resides in us forever – the Holy Spirit. At nang manahan Siya sa atin, binigyan Niya ang bawat isa (as part of the body of Christ) ng mga special na kaloob o kakayahan upang magamit natin sa ikalalago at ikatatatag ng iglesia. These gifts are manifestations/ demonstrations (pagpapakita o paghahayag) of God’s power through His Spirit (working through you)!

Nature of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit
#1 “charisma” – Gift of Grace (charis) 1 Cor. 12:4 There are diversities of gifts (charismata), but the same Spirit (NKJV). Ang bawat kaloob ay biyayang galing sa Diyos (according to His will) sa pamamagitan ng Banal na Espiritu; ito ay libre, hindi pinagpapaguran (not earned through good works).

#2 “pneumatikos” – Things of the Spirit 1 Cor. 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts (pneumatikos), brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: (NKJV) The gifts are spiritual in nature.

#3 “diakonia” – Service or Ministry 1 Cor. 12:5 There are differences of ministries (diakonia), but the same Lord.

#4 “energemata” – Effect or Operation 1 Cor. 12:6 And there are diversities of activities (energemata) , but it is the same God who works all in all. (NKJV) The gifts are being energized by (powered by) the Holy Spirit. Ibahagi.
